3 Great Portable Snacks for Moving Day

As moving day approaches, it’s always a good idea to start planning your meals. Once you have your kitchen in boxes, you will have fewer options available. If you do not want to spend a ton of money on food during your moving – whether it’s a day or a week – planning snacks and meals will be key.
Here are some recipe ideas for non-refrigerated snacks that can be made early and packed easily.
Trail Mix
A traditional snack idea, but probably the easiest to make, most nutritional and easily stored – trail mix can come in a variety of forms made to fit your family’s preferences. Here are some of our favorite mixes – stretch your mind past the traditional pretzel, nut and M&M combos.

Energy will be an important thing to have on moving day, so consider making and packing these energy bites for the road. Easy to throw together and roll into easy to eat snack balls – you might continue to make these even past moving day.
