Atlanta Can Be Your Playground
July 31, 2013
Atlanta is one of the most exciting cities in the southern United States, so if you have decided to move to Atlanta you will realize that you made the right choice. The city itself thrives and has all the things that will keep you busy every day of the week. Atlanta does not close on Sunday like other cities because in the end there is just too much to do to stay inside. Even in the hottest summer days your new neighbors will be out in the park or catching a Braves game.
Green Areas
A major city like Atlanta usually has to fight to keep some of its green areas, but this city has some of the nicest in any city in the country. The botanical gardens and the Atlanta zoo are known world-wide for having some of the rarest species of flora and fauna. There are also a lot of park areas around the city for a quick getaway so you can enjoy camping, fishing and hiking. Rivers are available some with exciting rafting adventures.
Inside Fun
There are also great things to do when it gets too hot in Atlanta. The nightlife of the city is unmatched by most of the surrounding states so you can dance the night away. For a more serious note you can take a CNN studios tour or visit one of the many famous museums like the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum, the Michael C Carlos Museum or the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Sports fans can watch the Atlanta Hawks or the Falcons play indoors.
