3 Ways You Must Enjoy the Summer in Milwaukee

Once your Milwaukee mover is gone, and you are left to enjoy your home, you’ll notice that summer is around the corner. There is much to see and do in the summer in Milwaukee. Try out these three tips:

Charter a Catalina with Sea Dog Sailing in McKinley Marina. Their Catalina 380 sailing yacht is available for exploring the Milwaukee Harbor on day sails, sunset cruises, or other types of trips. You’ll be able to view the famous architecture of Calatrava’s Burke Brise Soleil at the Art Museum, an unprecedented movable wing-like structure that opens and closes at 10am, noon, and 5pm. Parking is convenient on the lakefront, and sailing is available daily, at a rate of $39 per person for a one and a half hour public sail.

You can’t miss Summerfest. Taking place June 28-July 3 and July 5-8 from Noon to Midnight daily, it is trademarked as the “World’s Largest Music Festival.” This attracts 700 of the industry’s biggest stars, new talent, and local favorites. There are 11 stages, food and beverage vendors, marketplaces, and interactive exhibits.

Take a cruise on the Milwaukee River with Edelweiss Boats. Known as the most popular downtown entertainment, this cruise offers exclusive dining options and cocktail cruises. The Edelweiss leaves from downtown Milwaukee and showcases attractions along the Milwaukee River and the Lake Michigan shoreline including Pier Wisconsin, The Art Museum, lighthouses, breweries and the Historic Third Ward. There are 20 public cruises per week, seven days a week, so you should be able to find one that suits you!

These options for summer on the water and under the stars will get you familiar with Milwaukee fast. You’ll be glad to see your Milwaukee mover go so you can get out and enjoy the warm weather and great attractions.
