What can be more glamorous than a New Year’s Eve celebration in your new hometown of Los Angeles? With opulence and fame at your backdoor, Los Angeles offers many options when it comes to ringing in the New Year. So as soon as you get those moving trucks unloaded, be sure to check out some of these festivities.
If you are a someone who describes themselves as being with the “in crowd,” you won’t want to miss this New Year’s Eve celebrations at the W Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. This party has music to please, with different genres of music located in separate areas for dancing, including live music. Come dance, have a drink, and ring in the New Year right. This is a special year for the Queen Mary, as she will be celebrating the 80-year anniversary of the ship’s christening. This celebration is one you won’t forget with each party destination being the ports throughout Queen Mary’s voyages. Some of the ports that will be represented are Bombay Rio de Janeiro and Clydebank, Scotland (this is the first port of the Queen Mary) This is a great chance to celebrate the past and the present as you cruise along Long Beach awaiting the New Year.
New Year’s Eve in Downtown Long Beach
This celebration begins at Rainbow Harbor and hosts a family fun environment with live music and free admission. After 9 p.m. the party moves to Pine Ave. for adults to enjoy the night dancing in the streets as you wait for the fireworks to go off at midnight from the waterfront.
