On Trend Home Design Colors for This Spring

Every season a team from Pantone Color Institute creates a palate for the season’s hottest colors. The palate is inspired by the colors featured at NY Fashion Week. The show will usually dictate the colors that you will see in all faucets of design including home design.
If you’ve just moved or want to spruce up your home to sell – knowing the seasonal colors is always a great place to start when you need to freshen up a space. Color continues to be a main theme this year – lots of it. And, specifically color as self-expression. The colors are feel-good and uplifting for the spring and are offered in a variety of patterns. White isn’t left out as it’s considered the seasons best neutral. Notice that seasonal and gender continues to be boundary less. There’s a movement towards using non-traditional seasonal colors to push those boundaries even more. Consider complex color combinations when you look to decorate a new space.
